Slizer, Young Igwe unite for Dhewa commemorations
By Tawanda Marwizi
Motswana musician Naledi Kaisara, who is popularly known as Slizer, will rekindle her performance combination with Peter Moyo for the Tongai Moyo commemoration shows to be held across the country.
This will be the first time Slizer will share stage with Young Igwe, as Peter is popularly known, after she publicly spoke about their alleged love affair and threatened to reveal more about their relationship.
The two held a number of joint shows last year. The big show of the commemorative gigs will be held at Harare Gardens on October 5 and a number of local musicians will share the stage at the mega show.
Another musician from Botswana, Charma Girl, is also expected to perform.
Gift Petro, who is Slizer’s Zimbabwean manager, confirmed the dancer and vocalist will be coming for the commemorations.
“All is now in place because we have agreed with the organisers to have Slizer join Peter for the shows. She will travel with him for most of the gigs,” he said.
The first gig will be held at Mbizo
