Former collegiate and Arena football star Tom Luginbill joined Scouts Inc. in 2002. When the NFL-based company was purchased by ESPN in 2005, Luginbill was promoted to national recruiting director. He provides in-depth recruiting analysis for top collegiate football prospects on ESPN.com as well as on air analysis across ESPN platforms for high school football recruiting and college football, including sidelines for an ESPN or ABC Saturday game and contributes to ESPN’s UFL game coverage as an analyst. In addition, Luginbill is a regular host/analyst on SiriusXM. Tom Luginbill (born January 3, 1974) is a former professional American footballquarterback and coach. He is currently a college footballanalyst for ESPN.
Playing career
Luginbill was the startingquarterback for three colleges over his four-year career. He had varying degrees of success ranging from a national championship to a one-win season. He played football for Palomar College, a junior college, from 1992 to 1993, where he amassed 21 wins. In 1993, he led Palomar to the National Junior College championship and a perfect 11–0 record, and was named a first-team All-American by the Junior College Athletic Bureau.[1] Luginbill also set the all-time national junior college record for passing while playing for Palomar Junior College, becoming the most highly recruited junior college player in the nation.[2] He still owns numerous team records at Palomar (as of January 26, 2010).[3]

Luginbill transferred to Georgia Tech and became the ACC Newcomer of the Year in 1994. He spent one final college season at Eastern Kentucky.
